Serena: Hi, this Serena with Centerstage and I am here with our very own Green Thumb, Sharon Hoyer. Who is here to show us how to throw a planet friendly party? You know so that the only thing getting wasted is you. So Sharon speaking of waste, we have our list eco friendly table setting right here. Styrofoam is ugly and it is not very good for the environment either.

Sharon: Indeed it is not. It gets toss in a landfill and it remains there for a very long time like everything on a setting it is going to windup in a dumpster so it is definitely are least eco friendly.

Serena: And it does not look very good.

Sharon: And it does not look very good.

Serena: So let us move on to our little ground. I see we have paper plates here, which is still disposable but they are slightly better for the environment.

Sharon: Well, they are. They are biodegrade. You can also find paper plates that are made from recycled materials so you do not necessarily have to sacrifice the treat and the other flatwork here though it is plastic it is little heavier and can be use again.

Serena: Okay, so paper and plastic better from Styrofoam but non-disposable.

Sharon: They are the best, yes and this is also the most attractive setting as well. Cloth napkin, cloth tablecloth, all flatware and goblets. Beautiful, they will be wash and use again.

Serena: Perfect, there you have it. The best looking table setting is also the best for the environment and you do not need to have to fill better about the dishwasher.
