Hey, I am Nikki Darshel. I am with Ford Models. This space is Lounge Factor. They do custom modern furniture. I help them out from time to time doing refinishing. Learning on the job and then enjoying.

This is a solid maple table and I am going to take the orbital sander, take three different grids of sandpaper. Just make some dusts, clean it up, making it all nice and smooth.

So, I start with the 80 to get the main dirt off and then the higher the grid, so 135 would be the next just to smooth it out more. Then you slowly make your way up.

Today, I will probably just go straight to the cleaning submitted. Really clean this off so that it could not take a stain or oil would be so great to it.

See that so not so glamorous. I am going to use mineral oil today because we want this table to match the that you block in the kitchen.

Mineral oil protects the wood, set the wax going to stand on top of it and just keep things nice and shiny.

Then you actually see what is going to look like in its final stages after all the work , of the dust and all the sweat.

It is pretty cool. I love this table. Beautiful wood, nice finish, took the dust part about it. This wood become harder.

Well, I think she is good. I would not dance on it anytime soon because its little slippery. But it will soak real soon and your beautiful.
