Leigh: Welcome to Feng Shui your way. I am your host, Leigh Kubin and today, we will be Feng Shuing a couple's master bedroom. It falls in the journey area of the Ba Gua. So come on in and let us get started.

Female: Okay, Lee, here is our master bedroom.

Leigh: This is a great room. You got a lot of space in here. This is your journey area and this is a great room to have your bedroom. Not many people have their bedroom in the journey area. But what the journey area represents is sort of your life path. Many people think that it is your career and that is true but it is a little deeper than that. It is about doing what you love. I see a few problems. This bed over here is in a corner, which I know that you like the view of the door but you are creating a triangle behind your head and you really want a solid wall behind your head. And also, the triangle represents the third side in the relationship. So it can show up as a job interfering, something else coming in to the marriage that can cause problems and troubles between you. So we want to straighten this out and I would recommend putting it on this wall because if your bed is here, you are going to get a command position of the room. So both of you will have the solid wall behind your head, you have a view of the door and you are the out of the Mouth of Chi and that will really help you sleep. The only issue I see with the bed being here is that you got the slanted ceiling and that puts pressure down on you when you sleep. That is the only issue with it being here but there is really no other alternative. You do not want to put it on this wall back here because you do not have a view of the door and you are not protecting your back. And here, you got the window so really, this is the best choice. So what we will do is find a crystal to hang and it will disperse the Chi out instead of down on you.

Female: Really?

Leigh: Yes.

Female: Okay.

Leigh: So you can hang that there and when we put the bed here, we want to make sure that we get two matching nightstands. This is a common thing that people do not understand. They need matching nightstands to kind of put them on equal footing. Sometimes, single women will have a very nice nightstand and maybe just a cardboard table on the other side and they attract someone they have to take care of. So you really want something that is equal. This is the journey area of the room. The element for this area would be water and the color is black. Now that can create a little problem in the master bedroom because obviously, you are not going to paint the room black. And you want to use black a little sparingly in here because black encourages you go inside for answers instead of looking to your partner to do things together.

Female: Okay.

Leigh: So a little bit of that is good because we want to have that inside but we do not want to neglect the partnership.

Female: Right.

Leigh: So let us stroll a little bit in here. I love the blue wall because that is a great representation of water and then with the bed here, your perspective of the day will be this picture. So let us think of that as a journey and what a great spot to put that journey picture in and to give you that perspective when you wake up. You got this black bordering it, which is also water, so that works very well for you. Now you really picked a great spot to put this picture. So when you get your bed moved, you will have this perspective everyday when you wake up and both of you will come from it. So if you will stand on your path together - are you open to maybe putting some fabric on the windows?

Female: Sure.

Leigh: What I am seeing is with the journey area, you really do not want to add a lot of Earth. So if we were to put heavy drapes in here, that will be earth and that dense up the water, which is the element here and that would create a block of opportunities and ideas.

Female: Oh no, we do not want that.

Leigh: So we do not want, yes so my thought is to have some flowing type of curtains just something simple and light but to give you a little warmth in here.
