She is happy, she is at home, and she is here to empower you. She is the Handy Goddess!

Oh, is this not great? Okay, I have got doors are all cut in the right length. I have cut my own posts, so we have the legs for this bed to stand on and I will show you what we are going to do. What you will do is attach it like this. You can see now it is going to be like -- well, it can be like an inch off the top and 4 inches off the bottom. So, it will be more like this. Is that not great? I just use the footboard and the headboard stand up on something. Okay, so this is clearly the footboard. And, to do this, what we are going to do is I have my board, my door, perhaps a couple of 2x4s and then I am going to set this close the board I wanted, then I know that I want it like about half an inch, down from the top so I am going to make a mark here. Perfect!

Now, the carriage bolts have got this -- I forgot, I do not know the technical term. But, it needs to be recessed within a larger space to half inch but this thing is made up. So, I am going to use a larger bit to get this started and, I am just going to -- got it, I am okay. Is this not great? So now, we are going to tape this and since I do not mind if I drill through the floor I am going to do that, otherwise I would prop it up on something. So, I am going to drill through here, both sides. Line it up, just as we want them and have a half inch down and center it. So, I can decide all these, now it looks perfect. And then, I am going to use a drill and I am just going to continue drilling into the door.

So, now I can stick the carriage ball in. That thing is going to hold it in place and I can come down here and do this one next. So, there you could see what you have going on. Now, our door is going to have -- it is like a stand -- okay, I am going to do that with all four edges of this door and come back into the -- all right. Are they not great? Look! We are getting -- they look cut liked a pair of headboard and footboard, is this not wonderful? But, now we got this on, I had figured a way to keep the ball here, so what I want you to do is take one of these wood boarding bits. I have got one that join in -- hoping this will work and what I am going to do is just drill out down to where our bit goes into the door and I am going to be really careful not to go through the complete door.

See it was great? So, then I am going to put the post on, we can easily press on it and then tighten this up so the door cannot come out. Okay, so there we have got -- my great work, all done. The construction part anyway and I am -- now, we are ready to begin part two.

So, what we are going to do is just narrow it, so we can work in sections and make the machines here. And, I noticed that we have got dark legs, we have got a blue door, we have got cream door, we have got cracks and chips and dirt and -- these are a mess. So, what I think we are going to do to paint this is to begin by some place slapping on their coat. And then we are going to come back and have a lot more fun with these when it is completely dry.
