Here is a three-part tip on how clean, repair and maintain your wallpaper. Now cleaning, that is pretty easy. Most wallpapers in kitchens and bathrooms have a plastic coating that is because mildew forms. Now, you can buy some mildew remover spray bottles and I would suggest periodically spraying it. You can just use about anything on this, a soap formula, Windex, whatever…glass cleaner.

Okay. So, when it comes to repairing, sometimes you will have a seam come open or a corner come down or maybe somebody bumped into the wallpaper and scraped it. So, with any of these, what you want to do is, especially with a seam, you want to just peel it back as much as you can. And I suggest this tip: you go to any stationery store and get a spray-mount adhesive. It is efficient and strong and will hold forever. So, you peel it back. Spray the back and I would suggest you will need nothing more than a homemade or roller. Roller pin like you do for bakery. And to put it down as far as maintenance goes, I think you want to just--every so often, you certainly want to dust. You want to have somebody just wipe down your walls and if you are going to use a mild soap solution, maybe a cap full in a gallon of water, something like spik-and-span. And just use an ordinary sponge and I would suggest wiping it down. So, maintaining, repairing and cleaning your wallpaper is easy and very rewarding.
