Now, this gets even better because you will find under the edit menu over here on the left, let us choose that and go down to the very last item here called keyboard shortcuts.

This is going to be interesting. Let us choose that and we get the keyboard shortcuts window here. Now, this is a great place to customize your own keyboard shortcuts. If you have a specific keyboard shortcut that you like to use that is different than the one that is pre-installed, you can change it here or if there is not one where you would like one, you can assign one here.

So, let us see. First thing we need to do is create a new set and we will do that by clicking on the new set button. Why do we have to do that because you cannot change the default set. That is unchangeable. You got to make a new set to make any changes.

You will need to make a new set in order to apply your own keyboard shortcuts. I am going to name this set just like I name to my work space total training. Now, I will say okay and click the okay button.

Now, at this point, I can go ahead and begin to create keyboard shortcuts of my own. Now, you remember that we created our own work space in the Window menu under work spaces. What I would like to do now is go to that work space, the one we called total training and give it its own keyboard shortcut. Why do I want to do that because after I have messed up my screen I can just press a couple of keys on my keyboard and get to back to where I really wanted to be.

So, how do we do it? Select the item to which you wanted to apply keyboard shortcut, move down into the field that says press new shortcut. You need to actually get your cursor in there where you will not be able to do any thing and then on your keyboard, press the keys that you want to assign to that keyboard short cut.

I press option command T on my keyboard and what I do I see here though it is telling me that it is currently assigned to special forms start tabulator indexing but you know what I never used that keyboard for any thing so I am going to say, "Okay. I want that keyboard shortcut to be assigned to my workspace." So, I click the assigned button and now that shortcut is assigned to my workspace instead of some command that I would never use.

So, we get the idea there. I am just going to click okay to dismiss the keyboard shortcut dialog box.
