A lot of people say to Michelle, why does my dryer takes a long to dry the clothes and I immediately become suspicious with the venting pipe.

Now, if you are using the flexible pipe, wrong! Unless it is only three feet from the back of the dryer to the outside wall cap, now, if it is any longer than that then I always suggest that if there are any elbows, then I will always use the aluminum flexible. That way, it gives you a good flow of air through the ducts and also around and in the elbows. If it is longer than 10 feet, then use what is called the booster fan which is in line drawing the air from the dryer to the outside, pushing it through a nice clean aluminum plate to the outside venting closure. Now, I like the venting closure because first of all it is energy efficient and it does not have that flat-flat noise that you have on the other type of wall caps.

Venting, a very important thing with drying, it is just that easy.
