Alright, first I have got a nice effect, a nice sound effect for you on this guy here, it's a CDJ 800. First we will have a listen. Right, how do you that, I will show you.
Okay, you have got here Real Time Queue In and Out. Basically, these two buttons will enable you to sample the music, so let's play the music first of all. What happens when you press Real Time Queue In, it will start the sample, when you press Out it will stop the sample. Now, generally people will do one beat, two beats, three, four beats; what you need to do is you need to hit Real Time Queue In and then Out within a split second of each other. So first you hit Real Time Queue In, second you hit Out as follows. Let's play the music; like that I hit them very, very quickly. Alright, we may not get exactly the same sounds as the last time, it doesn't really matter, this is just a demonstration, move the camera a bit closer, we need to look at this area over here not at that moment, we have got that light shine, it has got those rates on it.
Next we will go one over one, the next one down we have got one over two, if we press that the whole is shining one, next one a two, next one a one. Okay, we have got that sound; I am going to move the camera back. At the moment now the pitch control is set to plus or minus 10, now have a listen when we move the pitch to minus 10, now have a listen when we move the pitch to plus 10, back to zero, press Queue. Have a little -- camera is going all over the place. Now check this out. Doesn't stop there, have a listen, bring it up to plus 10, doesn't stop there, bring it back down to zero, press Wide. Now the pitch is doing plus or minus a 100; check this out. There you go, clever trick for you, CDJ 800. Practice and enjoy.
