Billy Parisi: Thanks for stopping by FixMyRecipe.com, I am chef Billy Parisi, our next fix goes to Jennifer, Jennifer, Where are you from? You left us with nothing. We wanted to tell people where you are from and I know your friends want to know it's you and that you are not lying to, that it's actually you. I got your recipe for fruit salad, guess what, we are in winter months, I m going to change it up a little bit and I know you are going to be pleased with this fix.

Jennifer, you've recently submitted us this recipe during the winter months for a fruit salad. Think about it, tropical fruit during those winter months are not very good. Cantaloupe, pine apple, honeydew, they are not at their peak. So pay close attention, I have an awesome fix for you and it's much better in tune for these winter months.

Jennifer, you've complained your fruit salad was getting mushy. That means your fruit is big enough to sink the Titanic; you need those pieces a little bit a smaller. Jennifer like I said, get rid of that tropical fruit, we are going to use apples, so buying a sour mint, honey cress, granny smith, were delicious is doesn't matter. Cut them of nice, we are going to hold them overnight in pineapple juice. They will brown and it's going to add a little more flavor. Don't forget, we got to keep those apples airtight as well, so get a nice zip lock, cover it up.

Okay enough talking, let's actually make this fruit salad. First thing we are going to add is some yogurt and honey. Alright Jennifer, our quick sort of sauce or coating liquid is all finished. Next thing we are going to do is simply hold it in another Tupperware case, put it overnight, just next to your apples, so nothing is getting brown, nothing is getting mushy. Okay our next few ingredients, some sun dried cranberries, golden currants, toasted walnuts, you can also combine these in some Tupperware, hid it in the fridge, keep it separate for the next day.

Okay Jennifer, let's pretend it's the day you actually need your salad, all your fruit and all your ingredients are in their own Tupperware in our holding, not just covering, ready to go for the day. Let's simply strain our pineapple juice of our apples, add in our ingredients to our nice yogurt and honey sauce, try it out and I think you are going to be very pleased.

Looks fabulous Jennifer, let's try it out. Wow! Jennifer, that is so good. Leave that tropical fruit for the summer months and simply indulge in our apple dried fruit and walnut cell, this is so very good. Jennifer simply pop this in some Tupperware, keep it airtight, that is the secret because oxygen will ruin all your fruit.

Thank you so much for writing in. I still don't know where you are from, don't forget, if you got another recipe just let us know. We want people to watch you on TV. Be sure to come back tomorrow, see our new feature fix of the day.
