Hi! I am here with a few tips on project management for your home improvements. Well, as a home owner, I think everyone knows who is a home owner that the list of improvements and upkeep and everything never end so, I think the most important thing to do initially is to prioritize you home improvements. What needs to be done first? And go ahead and make a list. Secondly, do a budget for each one of these, because there are going to be times when maybe you can do some of the work and there are times when you certainly going to have to bring in professionals. And a budget is important because once you start to stray from that then, you know, it could impact your ability to continue down the list and do the other home improvements.
Other than that, I would say have a punch list at the end of each one and make sure that it is completed to your satisfaction. You are going to have to act as the general contractor whether you are doing the work or whether you hire somebody else to do it. Ultimately, you are the final word, final say, and which is good because it gives the control that you will need to do it probably in the timing and the budget that you have allowed.
