Okay, for this next beat, the pattern and the theme is going to remain the same but I am going to split it up into set of licks so here is the first part. We are going to start on the 13th fret on the high and we are going to play 13, 10 on E and then 13, 10 on the B then we are going to play 13, 10, 13, 10 on the high E then 13, 10 on the B. We are just going to repeat that twice and that makes up the whole pattern. When you get up the speed, the picking for this is just going to be picking the first three notes. So initially, you are just going to be doing down, up, down, up strokes on the 13th and 10th fret on the high E string.

So, playing it a little bit faster with smaller pedal and then you can kind of practice this lick so you will get used to getting some speed out of this kind of first position pentatonic style. You can experiment with changing the accents around and swapping when you play the double 13, 10, 13, 10 on the high E. We are going to move up now for lick 20 and we are going to be playing the same pattern but we are going to be using frets 15, 13 on the high E and then the same on the B string, so here we go.

For lick 21, I am going to be using the same pattern again but this time, we are going to be using 17, 15 on the high E and then we are going to be using 18 and 15 on the B.
When you put a low string back to back, it should sound like this.

For lick 22, we are just going to be doing ultimate picking with the right hand. Starting on the 15th fret on the high Evaluation, we are going to play 15, 17, 20, 17, 15 and just repeat that. Then we are going to move up and play 17, 20, 22 then 20, 17, and do the same thing. When you add the pedal in, it sounds even better.

Here is lick number 23. For this, we are just going to take the 13th fret on the B, we are going to push that up a whole step in between the 10th fret on high E, and we are just going keep doing that. Then when we get to the 13th fret, bend towards the end, which is going to let it down. Play 10 on the B and then play 12 on the G. How I am picking that is just the down strike on the B, up strike on the high E. Then we are going to do the same thing from the 16th fret on the B. Bending that up and holding the 13th fret on the high E in between the two. Then on the end, we are just going to push up 13th fret on the B and let it down.

Now, we are going to take a look at lick 24. We are going to blend up the 20 fret on the B string, a whole step and a half then we are going to play fret 18 on the B then we are going to get the 19th fret on the G and pull it down towards the floor and bend that in a half as well. When you get that towards the end, really give it some heavy vibrato on that. On the pedal with the heavy vibrato, it sounds even more aggressive.

We have come to final lick, lick number 25. First off, we are just going to be tapping the 12th fret on the G and we are just going to be moving our left hand in semi tones all the way down to the second fret on the G. We are going to have this. Okay, so you are just going to tap the 12th fret as quickly as possible and then start your left hand from the 10th fret and move it all the way down. And then on the end, we are just going to have the 19th fret on the B string and we are just going to literally kind of play that note as aggressively as possible and putting in the pedal as well. Okay, so when you put back those together, it should sound like this.
Okay, for this next beat, the pattern and the theme is going to remain the same but I am going to split it up into set of licks so here is the first part. We are going to start on the 13th fret on the high and we are going... click to read more
