Hi! I am here with a few tips on basic sidewalk or asphalt repair. When you get a crack in the sidewalk it is best to try to repair it as soon as you can because obviously, if you are in seasonal community or even a place that is one season being hot, the cracks will just continue to grow and spider-web out. In seasonal places, you tend to get freezing and frost freezing and things like that which makes the sidewalk rise up and thus crack. But, they can be repaired easily and quickly if you go to your local hardware store.

You can buy a petroleum based black tar type substance. It is an asphalt in a can and as you can see, this parking lot here were we are at has been repaired very recently and it is as simple as getting a something to spread this with. It is very, very hard and almost plastic like. It is like almost a rubber plastic. And if you scoop it out and you spread it into the crack and smooth it back and smooth it out and refill it again, it will harden in about four hours and then overnight, it will be hard as rock and there is your repair job. It really quick, really easy and it is something anybody can do. So, that is the basic for repairing a cement sidewalk and or a parking lot. Thank you.
