Now how to sell the change-up? This is our one chance at Hollywood, for those of us that do not act. You have to deceive the hitter, convince them your fastest pitch is coming; instead the change-up comes out. So how do we sell it?

I love a very mean look on the face, very aggressive look; the hitter just knows you are doing something fast. Very, very fast arm speed, that really helps sell it. So make sure the kids aren't going slow with their arm, that's just is dead giveaway.

If we take a deep breath, makes us look bigger, and bigger means we are trying to throw hard. Sometimes we could even flair our elbows out, that makes it look like we are really digging deep to throw hard. A nice long stride, very hard push off, makes us look aggressive as well on the change-up.

On the pitch like the backhand, the faster you spin it, the faster the hitter thinks, it's coming as well, and that also helps.
