Hi, I am Jeanne Benedict of celebrations.com and we are right in the middle of a circus themed birthday party.

Balloons are a basic at most kids parties but an arch like this is a real wow effect. And you know what, it is pretty easy to make.

You will need a couple of pieces of five foot long rebar, one five foot long and two seven foot long PVC poles with one inch diameters and two elbow joints to fit the holes. Then go to a party store and buy a hundred deep quality 12-inch balloons in various colors.

Stick the rebar along five feet apart and about 20 inches into the ground, being careful not to hit the spring cords. Slide the seven foot PVC poles on to the rebar and then attach the five foot pole as a crossbar on top using the elbow joints. Blow up your balloons. Knot the balloons and make two pleats with your two balloons tied together. Twist them around the poles, tacking them in opposite directions until your arch is patched.

Enter a party through a big balloon arch you are going to have a great time. I am Jean Benedict and to learn more about this party just click on kids parties at celebrations.com.
