Durable EZ lock fittings are used to connect, repair and branch off the main line tubing. This creates a watertight seal while joining pieces of poly tubing together. For this demonstration, we will be using the EZ Loc coupler. The most common types of EZ Loc fitting are T's, couplers, and the female hose beginning.

To connect your main line tubing to any EZ Loc fitting, start by turning the collar back to the body of the fitting which exposes the barb. Firmly hold the fitting in one hand and slide the tubing over the barb as far as it will go. Some force may be required and it can be made easier by rocking the tubing onto the barb or dipping the tubing into warm water. Finally, tighten the collar clockwise over the tubing until tight.

The coupler is used to either add on to an existing line or to repair a damaged line. The tight fitting allows you to branch off the main line and go in different directions. There are many other types of EZ Loc fittings and all work the same way and are usable.
