Hi, I'm Bob Schmidt with Home Remodel Workshop.

My vertical blinds take a lot of abuse. I have kids, I have pets, I have small nieces and nephews. Much to much surprise they're very easy to repair. I'll show you how to take care of it.

The most common damage that happens to a vertical blind is that little section of the blind gets tore off when it gets hooked to something or tagged. Let's take care of this problem.

What I have here is called a vein saver, it has little spikes on the inside that will grip on to your vein. All you need to do is to slide it over the hole, line it in up with the existing hole and popping in, in place. New hole or one didn't exist.

This quick and easy tip must not be known to very many people because I've seen a lot of duct tape, masking tape; people try to super glue things on. As I was going thru the hardware store, looking for my replacement vein, which I thought, I was going to, I came across these. I just thought that maybe you'd like to know too. Thanks.
