Master the Iron Cut Shot - Golf Tips
Video Transcript
Joe Beck: Joe here. I am going to show you how to hit a cut shot. Take a look at the situation. The pin is tuck behind the bunker; we need to bring the ball in from left to right. The only way to do it is to cut it. Here is how it works. You walk up, make sure the ball position is a little bit more in the center of your stance. You want to make sure that your stance is lined up a little bit to the left and then your club face is going to be at the target.
Then what you are going to do is make your normal golf swing, but swing along your feet, where your feet are aligned and then make sure the club face stays open, just a little bit. The ball will start off to the left and fade or cut back into the target. Let me show you how it works.
Walk up, align the club face at your target, make sure the ball is more in the center and make sure your feet are aligned right where you want the ball to start. And all you have to do from there is swing along your feet line and make sure the club face stays open. Watch this.
That's what I am talking about. That's what I am talking about.
