Hi! This is Andy James from LickLibrary.com. In this tutorial, we are going to be looking over the neck tapping while we are going to take a left hand and put it over the guitar lick instead among the bridge. So, let me just play the lick and then we are going to break it down.
Okay, we play this particular work over B flat power chord C and D to finish. Now, left hand is going to be over the neck. Let us just keep tapping the 12th fret in whole string and the 12th fret on the D. So those are two notes from the left hand. In right hand, we are going to be tapping three notes and the ultimate in between left and right. We are going to be starting on the right hand actually. And the first tapping note is going to be on 18 on the B then we are going to have 17 on the G and then we are going to have 15 on the D.
And to start with the right hand, we are just going to do this. Okay, so what are we doing is little in between the right and left hand. And so right hand 18th fret on the B, 12th fret on the A, 17th on the G, 12th on the D, 15th so we have got this. Then, the next time we stop, it is going to be our left hand this time on the 12th fret on A. And then, we are just going to hold this again but it is going to look a bit different. But if you just kind of keep that in mind when doing it, keep it slow.
Okay, that is all it is. Three notes in left hand, three notes in the right hand. Okay, so that is going to be a pattern for each shape. Now, what we are going to do is move a right hand up, leave our left hand where it is and then we are going to play this section then go over the C power chord.
Okay, so this time, we are starting on fret 20 on the B and then we have got 19 on the G then we have got 17 on the D still keeping the 12th fret on the D and the high E with the left hand. So far, we should have this. And then, the last shape is like a D major and we are just going to be tapping the 19th fret across the B, the G and the D with the left. I am going to show you right hand and left hand still staying on the 12th fret high, 12th fret D and we have got this.
Okay, so all together, a slow tempo should look like this. Okay, the last to that which is go back to the position that we played just before the last shape. Do that force and then we go back to the beginning and do all again. Okay, I am just finishing on the D there.
Now, I am going to play the whole thing again slightly faster just so you can hear a bit more of the rhythm of what I am doing. And again out to speed. Well, that is the end of the tutorial for today. I hope you had fun doing that. Until next time, I will see you later.
