Hello everybody and welcome to winelibrary.tv! I am your host Gary Vaynerchuk and this, my friends, is the Thunder Show a.k.a. the internet most passionate wine program and today we are focusing on a very interesting subject matter. The closure itself, that is right, the zork. I felt like there was going to be music after I said it like, the zork! Anyway, the zork was made in South Australia. It is a new closure and it claims to be the ease of screw top with the pop of a cork. So, I have not opened the wines prior because I want to you know do the zork as we do it. Do the zork now! Uh, uh! So, the reds may have a little issue because they are not opened up but they are, you know, entry level price points so, maybe that will help.

So, the first one we have here today is Muse 2006 Genie which is a California wine. It is an interesting; little white blend. I would like to find out what it is. There is no information on the bottle and that is bad. You want to see what is going on here? It is about the zork and not about the wine. So, there you go. We get to open it. I see; which is nice. I like that. [Pop Sound] And so, you know there it is zork town, USA so, not too hard. This one is 13 bones, probably some alternative white varietals; unfortunately not on the bottle. I did not see that. I apologize. We will get you the information. It is a unique blend of three year history of Muse Brand. See, you know I want to take this as an advantage to, kind of, yell about something that bothers me. How does a brand that is known as a make moments magic California white wine expect consumers with no information of varietal in the front and no information on the varietal on the back? You know, I do not know. Mystery does not look to me as you know a marketing play. To me, it is a mistake and I highly recommend all wineries, including them form traditional places like Brunello or Burgundy to put on the back of the label the varietal. Consumers want it, consumers need it and I am going to scream about it. Probably Gewürzt and Riesling and all those—blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Viognier probably all those kind of varietals if possible and this, let us give it a snippy sniff. Let us give it a roll. Kind of interesting dose, I get a little pineapple, a little pear, very fresh and vibrant let us give it a roll.

Good acid coming from on the mouth very floral, very fruity, nice. One of my best friend is named Rob Muse. So, it is fun to see his name on a bottle. Let us give it one more roll. I get a little apricot, barely Riesling, Gewurztraminerish on the flavor of - with a Chenin Blanc like probably all wrong, we just skip right over there. But high acid, little too much alcohol, little fruity action, nice wine, not bad; it scored 84 points. One other more stuff, 13 bones a little pricy but I got to admit, the zork was fun to you use.

Let us move on. So it is fun when they send in these wines. We do not carry any of these wines by the way. Hey Mambo, a bistro style wine 2006 sultry red. Now, these wine rolls in about $9.00, now they did a good job. So, can you zoom-in on this? Thank you. See that? That is all it took, Muse that is all it took, just a thumb print of real estate. This is a blend of Barbera. I will tell you what? I tell you red varietal; Zinfadel, Syra, Petite Sira, Carignane and Alicante Bouchet; very interesting. Real wine with red blend using more and more of that style are coming out. As great prices vary, the zork continues to be pretty easy. [Pop Sound] You know? I got a - the zork people are the ones who this wines. They wanted a little showcase on the zork and I want to be honest with you I have no problem with it so far. I mean, Michelle you have seen it and bit pretty easy. I mean it is an easy little move. I like it, the pop of the cork that I got. Again, Hey Mambo. Let us see what is going on with this little wine. Again, no breathing so we have to give it the benefit of the doubt on that but I really wanted to cut it open. The zorks, snippy sniff, tight nose, again it could be from needing a little breathing time
