You might have wonder what I do with things around my home. What are some of my favorite tools that I keep well hidden in my tool belt? Well, I will tell you what I am going to do, I will share them with you because these tools are guaranteed to save you a bunch of time and money. One of the best things I have in my tool belt is a wood rasp. What I call this is really a fingernail file on steroids. This is a great tool that allows you to make cuts on wood or plastic or any other non metal surface. It is rounded on one side and flat on the other and it has coursed cutting teeth and fine cutting teeth on each side. The next thing I have is a really neat set of Philips screw bits. You probably use a lot of drywall spruce to put together things. Well, if you like to do right, you got to drill a counter sink holes. Sometimes, that means getting a drill bit up. Well, this particular bits have the drill bit built in to the actual Philips bit, a really handy tool to have. Another thing you are going to find in my tool belt is this handy telescoping magnetic pickup tool. It works just like the antenna on a transistor radio and it allows you to pickup nails, screws or any other small metal object that maybe fallen into a heating duct or a crack. I will tell you what I really like is my little mini tubing cutter. Believe it or not, this little tool cuts copper tubing. You will get copper tubing in a real hard spot but you cannot get to that big tubing cutter, this will do the job every time and I would not be caught dead without my plumb bob. I have got levels, I have trans level, I have even got the fancy laser levels but those can get out of adjustment. Mother natures gravity works all the time and plumb bobs give you a perfect line every time you use one. I am Tim Carter, ask the builder.
