Tips on relaxing African hair
If you are a black female wanting to grow long hair here are few tips.

Have an experienced hair care professional trim your split ends. Wash hair as needed, depending on your hair type and health. Use a regular moisturizing conditioner after every wash, but deep condition at least once a week.

Apply daily moisturizer without petroleum jelly, petroleum or mineral oil to the hair from roots to ends, and gently massage in.

Seal in moisture. Apply light oil (olive or soybean) sparing after applying a water based moisturizer.

Combing hair carefully, avoid daily and/or excessive brushing as your hair is fragile. Make sure you wrap your hair with a silk or satin head wrap or bonnet before you go to bed at night.

Relaxing: Do not relax your hair more than once a month. It is best to have someone else apply the relaxer because they have a full view of your head.

Use African black soap that contains shea butter to wash your hair. Give your hair the luster, sheen and softness that you want your natural African hair style to posses.

Now love your beautiful hair.
