
Kathy is a gardening expert and was the program director for Gateway Greening, a community gardening association based in Missouri. During her time with the organization, she helped build and support over 100 community gardens throughout the St. Louis area. She also worked with the American Community Gardening Program, “From the Roots Up,” to support new community gardening organizations around the country.
Currently, Kathy grows vegetables and flowers on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She writes and edits a local online newspaper, and blogs at www.chesapeakejournal.com.
