Stefan Slater is a native of Los Angeles, and graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2010, where he majored in humanities. He contributes opinion, travel and culture articles to a variety of publications, including Angeleno magazine, Surfer and 805 Living. He’s also a bit of an aspiring carpenter, and he recently built his first DIY mailbox—it only fell apart twice, and he’s pretty proud about that.
