Question AC Fan Won't Start

The outside AC unit is working perfectly OK but the inside blower fan has a problem. It started with the inside fan sometimes coming on and sometimes it wouldn't - - now it won't come on at all.

Can any on out there help me out on this one?

Thanks in advance

Question

Will it run if you give it a push to help spin it look out when you do. If so it could just be the capacitor.

Same Problem here.....

Hi, I have a similar problem.
I'll hear the outside fan kick-in and then hear the coolant circulate but then the Blower sometimes doesn't start. This happens about 1/4 of the time. I can get it to kick-in if I turn off, then on again, at the Tstat.

Do I have a faulty component? Which?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks.

Wink

Like hvac4u said it can be lots of things blower control , board in the furnace, blower relay, tstat wire?????

Tech changed new thermostat. It still have the same problem.
Did he jump R to G on old tstat to see if blower came on. Before he put the new tstat there

Need more info info on just what you have there. furnace oil, gas, electric, heatpump just AC. Will it start if you push it,look out when you do.

It all helps. So some one can help you.

Thanks. He didn't do that. The fan was working when he was here. Then he tried to tight the t_stat. And then it is not work at all. He said it is T-stat problem, so he changed a new one. Next day, the problem return. The second guy came in and changed another new t-Stat. He said, first guy should put the switch to E, not F(on the back) and the wire is lose also. I have elictric A/C)heat and cool). It is goodman, 5.5 years old.
