Trane xe 1200 continue blowing outside
The fan outside is not shutting off and is continually running unless I switch off the braker box outside. The outside was covered in ice. The heater works fine. Thanks for any help.

Is it just the fan that not shutting off, or is it both the fan and compressor?
It's not covered in ice anymore or did you do something?
if it's still covered in ice, the defrost hasn't turned on or something hasn't allow it go into defrost.
What's you Aux heat?

You could have the contactor stuckout side in the unit or the defrost board is doing this to you. The fan should be off with the compressor running in defrost. What happens when you go over to AC at the tstat Does it run and the ice come off?
