Ideas for (Window A/C Unit) support???
#1

I just installed my ac the other day but I don't feel like I am fully done because I don't think that the way it's supported right now isnn't going to hold that well. Well my ac has these two bracket looking supports underneath to help lock it into the window frame. It's a single/double hung window ac and that isn't the kind of window I have. But the way I have it in is the two brackets already attached on the ac and I screwed in two more bracket supports on the right side. Which is the part where the window would start to close. So those two brackets I screwed in is helping it support with the window. I'm going to fill the remaining top area with some plexiglass. But before I do that I want to have it fully supported.
Before I installed the ac I began to install an actual support bracket, but I couldn't get the screws into the sill. I think because of the concrete. But even if I had the ac appeared to be wobbely.
I really don't know what to do! I can't do too much to the window because it's an apartment. I already took out the bars that were on the window to begin with. Plus I don't want the window to look trashy because it's the front window.
