Installing a central air conditioner unit
hi,
I bought a new town home but did not get the ac from the builder as he was charging $3000 for 10 seer rating equipment. Now i want to get it installed and am looking for advice about where to buy and any contractors. The size of my unit is 1560 sq ft. It is a 2 sotrey building and the property is in bay area, ca.
Prw wiring for AC is already in place.

Try shopping around some looking for another contractor, get 2-3 bids and make sure they have a good background and take it from there.
$3000.00 is very high for only a 10 seer unit, I'm with you on that one.
