AC breaker question
Odd question: Could uneven ground settlement around my AC cause the circuit breaker to switch off?
For the last two weeks my five year old central AC's circuit breaker will turn off when the AC starts up. It doesn't happen every time but maybe once every other day or so.
My ground around my AC has settled and the AC became very un-level. I leveled it out much better and so far for the last day or so the breaker has not switched off.
Is it possible this was the cause or should I call a tech? I just found out I need to be away for the next week and a half and I am thinking I better call someone anyway.
Thanks.

Depends on how out of level it was. Still doubtfull. It would put undo stress on the fan bearings but I would think that the compressor could handle it.
You may want to get it looked at and they will check amp draw on start up.
