AC is in normal working condition no problems. At night we set the temp at 73-74, during the day 78. Q1 is it more benificial to follow a "set it and forget it" and leave it set at 73-74? Or should we change the temp each night/day? Q2 Do programable t-stats save that much money? I'm thinking about getting a visionpro and setting everything accordingly. Q3 What do you guys rec as efficent settings for a pro. t-stat? Thanks

Last week we had an A/C problem and contacted a service company to come out to fix the problem (which ended up being a time delay relay and the tech had said it wasnt really needed, so he "bypassed" the relay (total cost $190)). Today we noticed water dripping from ceiling, upon inspection of unit in the attic (goodman) we discovered water dripping out of a copper tube next to the drain line. There are two small copper tubes sticking out of the unit that are in the same area as the drain tube, the one closest to the drain tube is leaking. So my question is does anyone think this is related to the "bypassing" of the time delay relay? Also does anyone have any idea what is causing this or how to stop it? While I am asking I have one more question.... The unit in the attic does not have a pan under it and I would like to put one in, can this be done by the average DIY'er or should I leave this to a proffesional (how much would this cost)?
