New 2-ton 10-seer r-22 units still available?
Re: New 2-ton 10-seer r-22 units still available?
Greetings,
I just got an interesting informal bid on a lo-end system
for my little home from a Lennox shop.
They swear to be damned that a 2-ton 10-seer r-22 Lennox
is not available anywhere around St. Louis, MO. Gave me
a bid based on a 13-seer Lennox r-22 unit.
Are 10-seer r-22 units still available? Or are they mostly gone?
If they are still around, might they be expected to be as
reliable (for up to 20 years) as the 13-seer r22 systems?
Thanks,
Puddin'

I agree with Matt.
some dealer may of brought a bunch of unit ahead of time and has a stock stached away some where, and others don't buy stock, they order as needed.

I agree with the other guys. Some sizes in some models by some manufacturers are easy to get hold of while others are just plain gone. I know of one major contractor in my area who bought truck loads just so he could have them for several developments he's doing/bidding on.
