Rerouting flex AC ducts

I have 12" flex AC ducts in my attic. Each register has a direct feed from the evaporator. Except the rear of the house which has a single feed with a 3-way split feeding 3 rooms.

Is it possible to reroute a single feed duct feeding a register in the kitchen and plumb it into the 1-to-3 way feed. In effect, having 2 ducts from the evaporator feeding into a single duct that's split 3-ways further down?
