AC is not working right

Hi,

I came home today and my house was very warm. I have a very old system that consists of a gas furnace in the basement and an old AC unit outside in the yard.

The pilot light in the furncae is on and is making no noise. The AC outside appears to be working as the fan is blowing. No air at all is coming through the vents(I even tried fan only and heat)

The lines running into the outside AC have ice all over them.

Is my problem with the furnace or AC?

Any help is much appreciated

PS: a technician replaced my thermostat 2 months ago and it has worked very well.

I just checked the furnace lines and they are frozen as well.

Turn your thermostat off. Place the fan switch to on. Do you hear the furnace fan running? Does the outside unit cut off?You may not feel air blowing until the unit thaws out.
