Air Conditioning Manifold

Is there any difference in a R-12, R-22, and R134a Air conditioning manifold and gauge besides the connectors?...Can one manifold be used with these three refrigerants with the appropriate adaptors?

You have different oils between 22-12 and 134.

If they get mixed you will damage the compressor seals

Yes one set of gauges can be used for all 3 refrigerants but as said you don't want to mix refrigerants and oils.
