Drain hose clogged, and lines are now frozen
My lawncare people ran over the drain hose outside and broke the end off of it. Mud got into the hose and clogged up the line. TYhis morning the A/C started blowing warm air. I went into the garage and I could hear water falling from A/C unit and hitting the ground. I then went outside to check the fan unit and everything was frozen. Could a clogged drain hose cause the system to freeze up?

Not sure just what you have there .But no a stoped up drain line can cause the freeze up. It would mean just water all over the floor inside. Take the drain pipe off in side and blow it out. How is the filter is it clean and new every 30 to 90 days. Let the fan inside run til all ice is off . then try the AC again. Small copper line warm to hot and big copper line cold and wet at the outside unit. If not first things can be inside coil has to be cleaned or your low on freon.
