ComfortMaker quote

I got an AC tech who quotes me $5000.00 for installing a 3-ton heat pump (including air handler). The brand is ComfortMaker (R410A).

Is this a reasonable price?

That is a low price for a Comfortmaker ( ICP) heat pump in this area.

It will depend on what is involved on the entire install. Is he running new line-set? Disposal of the old unit(s)? Etc.

Comfortmaker is an ICP brand. I have had ICP on my house for 10 years now without any problems.

Your quote sounds like someone is putting in a system for 50 bucks.
I hope you get a quality installation for that price.
My material list for a 4 ton ICP heat pump system 2 years ago was more than your 3 ton installed quote.
