Question Window A/C

A question, i want to ad a window a/c in a bedroom, i have an outlet that is dedicated just to run and a/c nothing else. But the window it would be in, the
cord can't reach that outlet, is it posible to use and extenison cord to make it reach?

You will have to use a cord that is rated for the Max amperage that A/C can put out. Do not use a typical household cord as this will probably burn up. Look at the amp rating on your a/c, then get a a cord that has that rating. Try to keep the cord as short as possible.

They make extension cords specifically for these applications, just buy one that is only as long as it needs to be.
