Window A/C Unit Recharge?

I've worked on automobile air conditioners for years. But I've never serviced a small household unit. Where can I find information on hi/low side pressures, refrigerant specs, oils etc. for window units?

Most windows unit are cheaper to buy new than trying to recharge it.

Also, you going need to braze a service valve since most window unit don't have them.... $$$$$$

Another thing you need is (EPA in the US or Provincial in Canada) CFC certification to work with the refrigerant that is in a window a/c unit.

Definately agree with Jay!
Window Units are cheaper to replace then repair.
It's wasting a customers money and your time to repair anything except a broken or burnt wire on a window unit.
