Furnace blower problem

Been thinking about what the cause is for the furnace blower to just stop. The capacitor looks fine - no charring or funny shape, the fan turns without any problem, and it does not smell as if the motor burned. Can anyone think of an other problem. What is mny melted brain not thinking of? I have a HVAC professional coming in a few days (the landlord can't be here until then) but it is a little warm in the house so if I can fix it I will.

The furnace is a York Diamond 80.

The only think that I can possibly think is the capacitor, but it doesn't look like it. Could it still be it?

Is the motor hot when it shuts down?

It could be that it's overheating, and shutting down.

Wink

Check first and see if you have power to the blower motor. When you call for cool or fan on. Have you tried on heat?? will it run then????
