Casement Crank out Windows...

I have a small room (maybe 150 sq ft) that I desperately need to cool.

My only problem is that I have casement windows in the room. The kind that open at an angle with a crank.

Like this

Anyway, I thought about getting a portable, but they are expensive and don't work well.

Is there any way to modify my window or a regular window a/c unit to fit?

If not, are there casement window A/Cs? I've seen some that say casement, but the horizontal sliding windows are also called casement windows and I didn't want to be stuck with that.

Any ideas?

They are not cheap, but you don't want to spoil the looks of that beautiful house.

Haha, believe me, that's not my house. Just an example of the type of windows I have.

I've actually been thinking of mounting a regular window unit with triangle blocks or shelf brackers underneath of it for support and then filling the rest in with plexiglass.

Think that would work?

Yuk!
It sure will do the trick.

And one can also go to a wedding party in sweat shirt and sweat pants instead of suit & tie.
