LG window a/c blows warm air

I have a split level A/C unit that's about 10 years old. I recently replaced the dual capacitor and the fan motor, and it had been running fine for about month since. I recently noticed that the condenser/compressor unit is getting very hot - there are bushes next to it and the leave close to the cage have burned. The outside temperature here has just recently gotten up into the 90's, but we're used to 100+ days, so it's not too abnormal. Any chance that the motor that I put in was not matched correctly and this is causing the unit to overheat? I haven't had a chance to open up the cage and look inside.

I have a Lennox Elite series (surelight) G26Q3-50 At the thermostat I set it to cool and fan on auto. I set the temp to lower than the current temperature so it should turn on the A/C. The only thing that happens is the combustion blower kicks on and runs continuously. The diagnostic LEDs just continue to both slowly flash (like normal). The condensor outside does not turn on and the big blower never comes on. If I change the thermostat fan setting to on, the display on the thermostat goes blank and the condensor and blower will kick on and run continuously and never shut off until I switch off power at the air handler or change the fan setting on the thermostat back to auto. I tried heat and it is basically doing the same thing. With the fan on auto at the t-stat I just get the combustion fan continuously running. Any ideas????
