A/C Drain Whistles!!
From what I can tell (and it's not because I know anything!) the coil I have has 2 drains. There are 2 separate 3/4" PVC pipes coming out of the side near the bottom. One has a trap and runs outside. The other just ends in the garage. From the info that came with the equipment, I'm thinking that the one that goes outside is the primary, and the other is a secondary in case the primary plugs.
I've had all kinds of whistling in the system. I've discovered and jiggled the filters in the returns around so that whistling went away.
My problem now is trying to stop the drain from whistling. What in the world causes a drain to whistle? It seems that there is a slight airflow coming out of the drain. HELP

You need to install a new drain line at the coil that has a p-trap in it.
A p-trap will contain water that will prevent the movement of air.
This can be made up with pvc or copper and the drop leg should be at least three inches long.
