Ice on Copper Tubing, AC not shutting off

Day 1-AC is not working, water leaking on floor from the right side open drain. Nothing coming out of outside condensate drain

Day2-Still not working, more water. I put in a McGyverism to catch the water from the alternative open drain inside house.

Day3-Technician comes out charges AC with freon, cleans condenser coils. Condensate drain starts working fine.Home cools normally, everything seems fine.

Day4-Home starts to not to cool again, I notice the copper tubing has ice on it, inside and out. Nothing coming out condensate drain. Air flow doesn't seem as strong as it normally is. Shut off unit for 45 minutes to defrost. Turn back on, starts to cool again, few hours later, more ice on the tubing.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to put more money into fixing this unit.

One more thing....... AC will not shut off when it reaches desired cooling temperature. Thermostat problem maybe.... or maybe it isn't reaching desired temperature.
