Condenser motor

Hey all, I changed a condenser motor today in my neighbors A/C. I bought one of those "All in one" type motors made by A O Smith. My neighbors machine is a Rheem. It was a real pain to line up the four holes for the motor to screw in. Has anyone else had a problem with
A O Smith multi purpose motors on Rheem units? I Cut the bolts as much as I could, so they wouldn't get in the way.
Thank you!

Im afraid to ask...

Did you match the "Horse power" and "RPM" of the old motor, along with changing the capacitor to match the new motor?

* If it is wrong, it will burn up.

*If it is all matched, no foul...you just had a hard time puttin it in - Its over now...
