Unhappy System will not shutoff when temp is reached

My upstairs system will work fine but when the set temp is reached the handler will shut off but the outside part will not until i switch it to off on the thermostat. The system is only 2 years old and is a tempstar. Any help is appreciated.

I suspect that you have a bad board, but it could also be the thermostat.
Please try posting the full model numbers for your equipment (both, outdoor and indorr units) as well as the thermostat..

I am particularly interested in seeing posted the model number of the indoor unit and thermostat.
