Thinking of buying a house w/out C/A has forced air heat? Hard to add?

I am looking at a colonial house which is roughly 80 years old. Fully remodeled but doesn't have C/A. It has Oil forced air heat. Would it be overly expensive to add C/A to this type of house? The duct work is there but I guess not the full duct work for return air????

So I guess my main question it's not just adding the cooling unit to ease my thoughts?

Any idea what this type of job would run in the end? Just a total rough guesstimate?

Thanks
Spankey

If the supply duct is big enough for AC then 4 grand should be close. If duct is not the right size then a guess would be 10 plus grand
