Comfortmaker N8MPN/L075F16 question
Novice here with an AC question.
I just moved into my new home and noted this type of furnace being used. It is located in the attic and is placed in a horizontal position. My question lies with the filter. I have to change filters in both the upstairs and downstairs grates, but I can't find one in the actual furnace blower. I took off the cover plate but couldn't find a filter to replace. Does this brand and model have a filter outside of the ones that need to be replaced inside the living spaces (upstairs and downstairs)?
Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

You wouldn't have filters in the return air grilles and also in the furnace. I'm sure the reason they put them in the grilles is so you wouldn't have to keep going into the attic just to change the filter.

A fair amount of furnaces come with washable filters at the units themselves, not sure about yours. Most of the time it will be a 1" wide door with thumb screws.
I have seen this set up with return filter grilles on more then one occasion.
