Broken A/C Unit wires

My dog chewed through the wires coming from my thermostat in my house to the outside unit. The wires were actually pulled from the A/C unit so I don't know how to match up the wires correctly.

The bundle of wires coming from the house had 8 colors, the best I can tell 2 or 3 were connected, it looked to me like 3, red, green and white. I pulled the panel off the A/C unit and I only see two wires disconnected, a big thick yellow and black wire.

Any thoughts? I'll try to post some pictures shortly.
Thanks.

I would remove the panel at your furnace and check the wires connected to C and Y. (Condenser Y may be wire nutted to the stat Y and not connected to your furnace)
You will see two sets of wires at your furnace. The set not connected to your G terminal is the condenser control wire.

Color Codes vary...

The low voltage fuse in your furnace has probably popped as well.

York examples...

Old Trane fancoils may have ...

Gas furnaces usually have a 3 amp and fancoils usually have 5 amp fuses, but this is not always the case.
I would protect the control wire from further attack by running it some form of conduit.
