Condensor Mount Question

Hi,

I noticed this spring that my outside condensor unit has moved several inches on its mount. The condensor sits on two pieces of angle iron extending out from the wall of the house. Between the pieces of iron and the condensor are 4 rubber blocks about 2" square, at each corner of the condensor.

The condensor is just sitting on the blocks, held in place by its weight. I guess over several years, vibration has moved the unit, so much so that the condensor was almost off the blocks.

Is this the way they are normally mounted, not permanently affixed? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

if there is room on the 2 rails at the end sticking out from under the condenser drill 2 3/8 holes and slam a couple of bolts with nuts washers threads up so they stop that creeping on the rail.on top a small one of those silver shelf brackets screw into the house and top of the condenser measure in 3" to clear the coil on the top of the condenser so if it is anywhere near.
