Smile condensate coming out of return air plenum

We have a 1986 era Rudd heat pump system. Recently serviced condenser unit. We added a dryer and had the lines evacuated and recharged with refridgerant. The problem now is that the distribution plenum which has four to five Hvac ducts coming out of it is leaking condensate (water) onto our ceiling above our linen closet. Should I either replace the plenum or add a drain pan and hook it up to the existing evaporator drain line which goes outside? Thanks for advice.

You need to open the plenum and see where the water come from. May be it is not catched by the primary/secondary drain.
