Rewrapping Attic A/C Ducts

Getting condensation through my ceiling A/C vents, which means the insulation is unwrapping itself from my attic ducts. The insulation itself is slightly is damp from the condensation.

Is it a grave mistake to simply re-tape the insulation around the ducts if it is damp? Must replace it with new insulation?

thanks in advance, as always.
